ABOUT THE SONG

“Leave A Little Dust” is about refusing to spend the rest of your life waiting for the perfect time to start living.

There are miles behind us, but there’s still road ahead. Take the trip. Chase the sunrise. Make the memory. Leave a little dust.

WHO IS STEDF@ST?

STEDF@ST is a human-directed, AI-assisted country-rock music project built around lived experience, hard-earned perspective, and the belief that there’s still road ahead.

The songs begin with human ideas, stories, decisions, and direction. AI is part of the production process—not a substitute for the person behind the music. Every track is evaluated, refined, and deliberately chosen before it becomes STEDF@ST.

This music is for anyone who has put some miles behind them and realized the journey isn’t over.

There’s still road ahead. Leave a little dust.

HOW IT STARTED

STEDF@ST began with one song.

I wanted to create a song for America's 250th Anniversary—something that celebrated this country and honored the people who have helped make it the greatest place on earth. I knew the story I wanted to tell. I knew what I wanted it to say and how I wanted it to feel. What I didn't have was a band.

AI-assisted music gave me a way to bring that idea to life. The technology could provide instruments and performances I couldn't produce by myself, but the stories, direction, decisions, standards, and final judgment remained mine.

One song became another. Then another. Somewhere along the way, an experiment became STEDF@ST.

And there was still road ahead.

MORE ROAD AHEAD

Leave A Little Dust is only the beginning. More STEDF@ST music is already on the road.
